ok, i've seen this linked to in about 6 web logs and journals but i want to link it anyway. this is both one of the cutest things i've ever seen and one of the most frightening.

there is a boy named raoul and he use to have a site that i called glass children. that was part of the url but i was never sure if it was the real name or not. for some reason some words from that site: "...if you are feeling much too fragile to jump around in playgrounds..." (or something very, very close to that) struck me as beautiful. the whole site had this power to make me feel better about everything. it was like walking to school filled with dread and suddenly realising that everything around you, right at that very moment is lovely. the sky looks such a pretty blue and the air is crisp.
well he took that site down and made a new one. math without tears has to be one of the best names i've ever heard. i don't like the new writing as much but it is still very good. the drawing are also very nice. you should really check it out.

they make the little christian cartoon pamphlets. i love these things. only cult pamphlets beat these in the 'cool stuff people give you downtown' contest. really, some of these are pretty sick. i can't believe that people would pay money to get these things. i can get about 12 of them waiting for the bus in the afternoon. the church of fire people really seam to like them. read and laugh (unless you believe in this stuff and like people making cartoons to spread/force gospel on others... in that case print some up and get yer ass to the nearest mall)

you know what i always wanted? i wanted to make an over the top girly gothy glamy punky site with lots of glitter and shit. i wanted to call my self a cool name and write about all the punk bands i know. post some pictures of me in torn fishnets with pink hair (pink hair is soooo cute). it is such a sad thing to want but i just can't kick that feeling. i have come close a few times. i have had pictures of eyelinner clad boys. i had pictures of me with blue hair. the thing is, i just don't have the attitude to pull it all off. i could call myself "rockwhoregrrrl" and say i'm "punk as fuck" but then i'd blush and giggle because i am a silly nerdy girl and everyone knows it.
anyway, 90% of the sites in this ring fit that description.

i love this place. this place is great for getting all of the words to a sesame street song you only know part of. i was amazed at how many songs there were. i was also amazed at how many of them i sort of remembered.

this is a bit of a radiohead/pointless rambling site that i have had in my bookmarks for a long time. its the site of some little poly person but i'm not sure who. anyway, it's amazing how much time you can waste just floating from link to link. if you really want to go back to the start just erase back untill ~farhills/. i like the 'we' bit best though.
translator
if you are as horrible at languages as i am this could be helpfull. i set up a site (yes, another one) on a french server and used this to get an idea of what the 'terms of use' thing i signed said. i was able to set the whole site up without the translator though. i am very proud of myself. after 8 years of french classes i could sort of understand it.
